WALL OF REMEMBRANCE
Loosing a pet is a tragic experience since they are part of our family and hold a special place in our hearts. Our donation wall of remembrance is a special place we can all come to honour and remember the lives of our special companions that have crossed over the rainbow bridge. You can make a donation of any amount in your pets name towards helping another dog get medical care they need or provide much needed food and supplies for the rescue so ultimately others can find their forever home. In return, a photo and obituary of your pet will be displayed on the website. Our sincere sympathies for the loss of your furry loved one.

A beautiful young lady, Andreja (October 25, 1987 - November 1, 2022), and her loyal canine companion, Jesse (September 16, 2006 - October 7, 2022), left this world far too soon. The Frykas family endured two profound losses within a year, an profound sorrow that weighs heavily on their hearts.

Our dear Tasha was a part of our family for 14 wonderful years. She and I learned obedience, flyball, freestyle agility, discing, conformation, and So Much More together. She was my training partner in the ring, and at home when we were practising or just playing around together in the yard. Her favourite activity by far was playing frisbee and obedience at which she excelled and I'm proud to say she got a HIT (High in Trial) the same day she earned her CD. She was my heart dog and it's hard to imagine life without her. We spent a final lovely morning together in the garden lying in the grass watching the clouds go by. I will always cherish the years that we spent together. She is running free with Jenny now.

Bentley

Bentley was the most loyal, loving dog who was full of personality and vigour. He was an extraordinary dog who grew up with our children, and we all miss him terribly. When I was teaching obedience classes he was my training partner and always let me know which dogs needed the most help as soon as they walked into the room. I'm eternally grateful to Betty Scott for her guidance and wisdom and for Joanne and Frank Nichols for allowing us to teach and train at their beautiful facility.
He is now across the rainbow bridge with my Dad, our dogs Jenny, Tasha and my parents dogs who crossed the rainbow bridge before him. He was loved by so many people, including my mom, my husband and of course our children who grew up with him. I will always be eternally grateful to Laura for entrusting me with such a wonderful companion to share my life journey with. He is still incredibly loved and will be forever missed. I am absolutely heartbroken he is no longer able to be with us. Until we meet again my friend, run free. |

With lightning speed, she conquered the flyball races, leaving us in awe with her 3.5-second sprints. Jenny's talents knew no bounds; she excelled at frisbee, herding, and any sport she set her paws on. Her true passion was playing ball, and her endearing nose pokes were her gentle reminders to shower her with attention. Jenny's loyalty knew no bounds, and her legacy will forever pave the way for the many beloved companions we have welcomed into the family. Though she's no longer physically with us, her spirited soul and cherished memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Jenny, for being an extraordinary and loving companion. May you run free and play ball in eternal bliss. |

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to sweet little Theo. We remember and honour him, a beloved foster dog who brightened the lives of those around him during his last few months with his foster family. Theo's vibrant spirit and boundless energy brought joy to every moment he spent with us. Whether playing outside or simply cuddling, he made ordinary moments extraordinary, teaching us the power of resilience and love. Tragically, a car accident took him too soon at only a year and a half in age, but we find comfort in knowing he experienced care and affection during his time with his foster family. Run free over the Rainbow Bridge Theo, and may you rest in peace.
