I’m being raised in a loving foster home where I’ve learned that the world is a fun, safe place full of friends. I spend my days playing with my three big foster dog buddies, a very patient cat, and four kids who range from tiny to big-kid — and I think they’re all pretty great. For my age, I’m doing fantastic. I know my name, I understand “no,” and I’m super smart when it comes to house training, which is basically Ivy League puppy behaviour. I’m bold, curious, playful, and brave — and when I’m tired, I turn into the sweetest cuddlebug you’ve ever met. I’ve also been learning about kennel time and I’m getting very good at that too. I’ll be ready for adoption the first week of November. My breed mix is a mystery (a fun surprise package, if you will), but my heart is pure gold. If you’re looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and melt into your arms for snuggles, I might be your perfect match. |

Age: April 11, 2025 Good with: Dogs: Yes Cats: Yes Kids: Yes About Me: I’m six months old, and everyone says I’m the kind of pup who makes life brighter just by being in it. I love softly, play gently, and trust deeply. I don’t know that my heart is different — I just know that it’s full. The people who care for me say I have something called severe subaortic stenosis. It means my heart has to work a lot harder than most, and even with my medicine, I probably won’t get to grow old the way other dogs do. My time may be shorter, but I promise to make every single moment count. I’m a calm, well-mannered girl who just wants to love and be loved. I don’t need pity — just someone who sees past the diagnosis and into the sweet, gentle soul behind it. I’ll greet you every morning with gratitude, curl up beside you at night, and fill the time we have together with laughter, peace, and unconditional love. If you open your heart to me, I’ll spend my days reminding you what joy looks like — because even with a fragile heart, I have so much love to give. |

Age: June 15, 2025 Good with: Dogs: Yes Cats: Yes Kids: Yes About Me: If you met me a little while ago, you’d have seen a shy guy trying to make himself as small as possible. But guess what? I’ve been blooming in my foster home — like one of those dramatic movie glow-up montages, but with more snacks. I’m sweet, curious, and learning that the world is actually pretty great (especially when it involves squeaky toys and dog friends). I get along wonderfully with other dogs, and I recently hung out with a three-year-old like a total gentleman. Gold star for me ✨ House training? I’m this close to nailing it. I’m really good at letting you know when I need to go — you just have to be, you know, reasonably fast about it. Once outside, I do my business right away like the efficient little champ I am. I’ve also been working on sit and leash walking, and I’m picking them up quickly. At night, I sleep soundly, and I’m great in a pen. Kennel training is next on my to-learn list, but we’re taking things one step at a time because slow and steady has been my winning strategy so far. New places and new situations can still make me a little unsure — I won’t pretend otherwise. But my foster family says my progress has been huge, and that with a patient home full of kindness and routines, I’m going to make the mostwonderful family dog. I’ve got love, I’ve got heart, and I’ve got just a little bit of mischief to keep things interesting. Not one flake. Apparently, it’s cold, wet, and sticks to your fur… but I’m pretty sure I’d make it look good. I’m a happy-go-lucky retriever mix who believes life’s too short not to wag about it. I’m friendly with everyone — kids, adults, other dogs, and even the occasional cat who gives me the side-eye. My specialties include giving big sloppy kisses, making people laugh, and looking cute while doing absolutely nothing. I walk nicely on a leash (no sled team experience yet, sorry), and I’m kennel trained, so I know when it’s time to chill. Confidence is a work in progress for me, but I’m learning fast. Every day I get a little braver, a little goofier, and a little more sure that life is good. I’m the perfect pup for any family who wants a loyal companion, a built-in comedian, and a best friend who’ll turn every day into a snow-day-level good time — even without the snow. |
